Growing up in Chicago, Illinois. Terry was fascinated with a magic set his Aunt Ruth gave him and a magician his father would take him to see. After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Terry, by chance, met the magician (Joe Zering) and was inspired to make magic his profession...

Terry took his act to Chicago's legendary New York Lounge, Victor’s and Schulien’s Restaurants among others and was a favored magician in several night clubs earning him the title "The Rush Street Magician."

Holding the distinction of being a featured magician at the 2nd Annual Desert Magic Seminar, hosted by Sigfried and Roy, Terry performed for an audience of 400 fellow magicians. Following the seminar, he was invited to the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, where he again entertained for a large audience of magicians, to rave reviews.

After guest speaking and entertaining at several Magicians Conventions, Terry was invited to be a featured magician at Illusions, a magical themed restaurant, in Carmel, Indiana. Terry soon moved to Indianapolis IN. Now, after 16 years in Indy, he moved to the west coast. The Veckey's currently have a home in Medford, Oregon and Terry appears regularly at "The Four Daughters" restaurant on Main St., downtown Medford.

While he continues to amuse and amaze audiences at restaurants, parties, corporate events. Terry is now preparing a new lecture for fellow magicians, focusing on restaurant and bar-magic.
